CowboysJK
I'm buying a Colorado 400t in the near future, and I'd like a copy of City Navigator to install on it and my Mac Pro. I do not have a current version of the software. I've looked at every copy of City Navigator that I can find on Amazon, and I'm apparently a moron, because I can't tell which one I need to buy. The only one I can find with DVD and Mac in the title, says it is a 2008 Update disc. Don't I need a full version? I'm usually pretty on top of things when it comes to software, but these map versions are throwing me for a loop. Anyhow, if anyone can point me towards the version I need on Amazon, I'd appreciate it. If Amazon doesn't have what I need, I'd like to know that as well. Quote Link to comment
ryleyinstl
If you go here (http://www8.garmin.com/cartography/mapSource/citynavnt.jsp ) and get the product code and then search on Amazon you get this (http://www.amazon.com/Garmin-Navigator-Ame...0137&sr=8-1) It says it’s the 2007 version but many have said that they get the 2008 when they order as Amazon just hasn’t updated the description. Then once you unlock it you can download the 2009 update for free. Quote Link to comment
CowboysJK
That looks to be the version number for the PC, not the Mac. When I do a search on Amazon for the Mac version number (010-11033-00) from that Garmin page, it doesn't find anything. Quote Link to comment
ryleyinstl
Right you are. I searched for 010-11033-00 but the PC one came up and I didn't catch that. I guess Amazon does not sell the MAC copy. You can get it directly from Garmin. Edited August 8, 2008 by ryleyinstl Quote Link to comment
