Mid-Atlantic Event, Gathering and Hike REMINDERS

I find that myself and others occasionally use existing threads to post invites for people to get together for hikes and other activities that might not always qualify as an "Event". The only problem is that if some people have already read the thread on the original post, they may not think to reread it.

 

I thought it would be worthwhile to have a single thread that people could post dates, times and meeting locations for invites to others to join them. So that the thread is quick to read and scan, the following guidelines might keep it a bit more "pithy" (ie., brief):

1. Please post only a short description of your activity with the date, time and meeting place coordinates
   
2. Create a LINK to the thread where there will be more information
   
3. Post the "I'll be there", "Plan to attend" comments on the other thread (not this one)
   

Hopefully this provides a useful thread to keep you aware of individual and group activities.

WHAT: Hike to get Stokes Petroglyph Trail Challenge

 

WHEN: Sunday, July 27th - Meet at 9:00 AM

 

WHERE: The entrance to Stokes State Forest is located off Route 206 at N41 11.082 W074 47.827. From there, take Coursen Road as far back (north) as it will go. Turn right and head to the Stoney Lake parking area and we will meet there.
