+Pikapene Posted June 25, 2008 Share Posted June 25, 2008 I've been using an ipaq rz1710 for some time for paperless caching which is working a treat but would now like to use it linked to the etrexH for moving map in some situations. I have cables that connect the 2 devices and am using a trial version of OziexplorerCE on the ipaq but can't get it to talk to the etrex. Using NMEA out on the etrex (4800 baud) and on the ipaq (serial supported) baud 4800 sentence GPRMC and tried various ports. Any ideas leading to a fix would be appreciated. Quote Link to comment

Can you communicate with any other serial device? IOW, do you know for a fact that you're able to communicate via serial protocols with some peripheral? Quote Link to comment
