+churchrules Posted April 14, 2008 Posted April 14, 2008 Wondering if anyone has ever combined running and geocaching? I know I've used Garmin forerunner 201 in the past and ran from one cache to another on a rail trail with caches manually inputted into the forerunner. Would love to share routes with others. Quote
+TrimblesTrek Posted April 15, 2008 Posted April 15, 2008 Running and geocaching? Of course! Running from mosquitoes, black flies and deer flies! Happens every May, June and July. I should be in awesome shape by now. Love your avatar! How can you possibly run with a belly full of Guinness?!! Quote
+2happy2gether Posted April 15, 2008 Posted April 15, 2008 Last summer I did a good chunk of the Bruce Trail in Ontario and had quite a blast running from cache to cache. The terrain there is fairly rolling and it's quite possible to get a good 10k run in a couple of hours. Quote
+tangerineman Posted April 15, 2008 Posted April 15, 2008 I've never enjoyed running - more of a walker, hiker or cyclist - but I gotta say, give me a forest multi - maybe 5/6 stages, and I tell you, I run between stages JUST because it's so fun. Quote
