Need some help

I bought and activated a travel bug. I gave it a mission and just dropped it off in a cache to start it's journey because I don't have a cache of my own.

 

How do I add it to the cache's inventory? Did I need to start my own cache to have it begin it's journey?

 

Can someone please advise me how to "drop off" my travel bug in a cache? Right now, it's just sitting in the cache but know one can see it.

Your bug is out to an unknown location so you'll need to Grab it to put it into your drop inventory.

 

Access the bug page, copy off the tracking number and select Add a log entry. Select Type of log: Grab, enter in the tracking number and a short comment. Submit.

 

This will put it into your drop inventory so you can post a note on the cache page and drop the bug.

 

You can delete the Grab log it any time and it won't affect where it's at.

One doesn't need their "own" cache. I bet most cachers don't have their own and they send TBs on their merry way all the time
