+Arndtwe
I'm getting Palm Tungsten T3 in a couple of days and I was wondering if there is a free downloadable equivalent to CacheMate? If not, no big deal I'll just pay the 8 bucks and use CacheMate, but why not save $ if I can. Right? Quote Link to comment

But you said that you didn't know of any BETTER, what are the ones you do know of? After all, GSAK is the "best", but I much prefer EasyGPS (just as an example). +Arndtwe
I was just at the site where you can get CacheMate and while looking at it I noticed "download zip" and "purchase". Does this mean you can just download it for free, or do you purchase it AND download the zip? I am very confused! Quote Link to comment

But, untill you buy an unlock code (one time $8 fee) it will only allow you to load 10 caches to your PDA. Allows you to try a limited version before you buy. There is something else out there for free, but I can never remember the name. One friend uses it, and likes it a lot. Quote Link to comment
+fratermus
When I was running a m500 and a Treo 600 I did it for free thusly: PQ --> gpx2html --> plucker (or sunrise) distiller --> plucker reader Now on windoze smartphone I do it free thusly: PQ --> gpx2html --> freeware sync tool of some kind --> Pocket IE It's all batched/scripted so I just plug in the device and pick up the latest info (if any). THere is some additional gpsbabel slicing/dicing but that's a function of my having several overlapping PQs. I do not like GSAK enough to even use it for free. I know, I know, I'm a heretic, an unbeliver, burn him, he's a witch. Quote Link to comment
