+Red Iguana Posted September 5, 2007 Posted September 5, 2007 Some of the function buttons on my unit are either not working at all, or are intermittent. Has anyone experienced similar problems, and if so, did you find a fix? Specifically, the escape (x) button does not work at all, and the in and out buttons intermittent, as is the down toggle feature. I have sent Magellan two e-mails, but no response. Thanks Quote
+Trail Buzzards Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 If under warranty you may want to send it back for repair, otherwise, carefully open the case and clean the contacts where the buttons press against the circuit board. I used alcohol. An erasure will probably work as well. Quote

Hmmm...went out to replace a cache today and I had the same problem..the IN button does not work...will try the alcohol and a Q-tip method....these are easy enough to tear apart, eh? Later Phil Quote
