Sure. You can make a TB out of just about anything. You just need to give some thought to how you will attach the TB tag.

You don't have to use the TB tag you purchase from GC.com, if that's what you are asking (but you do need to purchase the tag from GC - only their numbers are trackable on their web site).

 

So you could, for instance, carve the GC.com tracking number you got from the TB tag you purchased on a piece of wood, and attache that to your TB.

The trackable codes need to be purchased from Groundspeak if that is what you are wondering. All TBs should have the TB dog tag attached, but coins can travel on their own.
