+scavok
This sounds like an odd request but if anyone out there has the beanbag type dash mount in a jeep cherokee, how do you have it set up? I only ask because with the dashboard so shallow, when I accelerate a little fast or hit a bump, it tips and falls forward off the dash. I'm almost tempted to just wedge it in between the windshield and one of the bean bag corners to hold it but don't want to damage it... I can't be the only jeep driver with a garmin mounted so I'm just curious Quote Link to comment
+geo-merge
I had a similar problem with my Tacoma and a garmin 60CS. Using the beanbag mount with the 60CS put the center of gravity far enough forward that the whole thing would slide off if I hit a big bump, or just thru road vibration. My solution was to take a small pice of velcro and fasten the part of the mount closest to the windshield to the dashboard. This worked out really well for me. Everything stayed where it should have even off road. Hope this helps. geo-merge Quote Link to comment
