+fratermus
I have a new 60CSx that was acquiring satellites out of the box. After connecting it to garmins trip and waypoint manager it will not acquire any satellites. Anyone experienced this issue? S&T should have no effect on the ability of the GPSr to track the birds. At the risk of backtracking too far, I would: * make sure the GPS sattelite setup page shows Normal or Battery Saver, and not Off. It is possible to be moving through the menus when the "bad reception - turn satts off?" dialog pops up, and saying "yes" unintentionally with one's next button push. * make sure the GPS has a clear shot at the sky Quote Link to comment
