Jinxdude30 Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 I have a few questions about planning a CITO event Does the event have to be in the woods? Or a park? For instance, I have permission to clean up a historic grotto in Warren, New Jersey and I thought that It would be fun to have geocachers come along (since there's a geocache there already) Is that allowed? Does this qualify for a cito? Quote

MissJenn Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 Does this qualify for a cito? From what you said, I think so. Tell us more. Ask more questions! Quote
Jinxdude30 Posted May 2, 2007 Author Posted May 2, 2007 I also have another question. When I go on Geocaching.com to post the coords to the event, Do the coords for the event have to be a tenth of a mile away from any cache in the area? Quote
MissJenn Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 No, events are exempt from that particular guideline. Quote
Jinxdude30 Posted May 2, 2007 Author Posted May 2, 2007 Alright! I will put the CITO up on geocaching.com within the next few days! Thanks Quote
