MarilynB
Being new to this please forgive my ignorance (please ) If I create a region in topo and a region in mapsend direct and I load the Topo region as active, is there a way to display the topo maps and also will the roads and streets poi etc, be overlaid with the Topo map? The reason I ask is because I do not have topo and I am looking to buy it, so when I am driving if I have topo loaded will it still show streets and directions etc?? Thanks for any help Quote Link to comment
MarilynB
Any ideas before I buy the MapSend Topo? I just want to make sure I can use both simultaneously Quote Link to comment
+embra
Topo3D contains the same street dataset as DirectRoute--but, as you noted, it cannot autoroute. While you can't bring DirectRoute autorouting into Topo3D, you can bring Topo3D contour lines into a DirectRoute detail map. Quote Link to comment

+embra
I should note that this worked for me with DR v1 and T3D v1. I'm pretty sure that DR v2 worked as well. While I don't have any reason to think that DR v3 and/or T3D v1.5 (the ones that come on DVD) would be any different, I don't know them to have been verified to work in this combo. ...so if you can get the CD versions of these programs, you'll be on firmest ground.
