carpetking Posted August 19, 2006 Share Posted August 19, 2006 We just purchased an Explorist 210 and love it. We have found it to handle everything we need it to for Geocaching. It's accuracy is great and works well in the mountain area of the California South of Lake tahoe. We are able to get a map from Lake Tahoe to San Francisco on the unit with room to spare. That ought to keep us busy for a while. If the screen on the 400 were bigger or in color I would say, consider that, but since they are the same, I'd be hard pressed to consider anything but the 210.
