+flash packers Posted March 13, 2006 Share Posted March 13, 2006 When this unit is connected via the USB cable to a PC is it now receiving power from the USB port as opposed to the internal batteries. I do not know though if it will recharge rechargeable batteries while on USB. I think I have read people arguing for both ways on here. Someone else can answer the second part better than I. The unit doesn't know whether you have installed rechargables or not, and trying to recharge regular batteries in a GPS would be bad. Several users have reported success with a cigarette lighter USB adaptor, but IIRC, one user thought it fried his Legend Cx. Not sure what kind of adapter s/he was using. Quote Link to comment
