moritz_ocko Posted February 13, 2006 Share Posted February 13, 2006 Just got the 500 and there is a cd labeled Firmware update that came with the mapsend 3d topo. Magellan has a sheet included that says not to upgrade from anything other the cd that came with the product and to NOT use older versions or one on the mapsend cd. So does this mean I should update the firmware twice? Once with the supplied cd and than the new version 2.03 that is posted on Magellans website? Thanks in advance. Quote Link to comment
+embra Posted February 13, 2006 Share Posted February 13, 2006 Per a conversation here a day or two ago, I think you'll find if you look at the firmwares on the update CD that there is none for the explorists...the update CD predated the release of the explorists. At any rate, the 2.03 is the most recent and seems to be enough of an improvement that I would recommend updating to it. To answer your question, once is enough.
