moritz_ocko
Ok, I have scoured the Magellan site and no where does it reference the micro sd card as some posts here do. The picture in the manual looks like a standard, but is not good enough to be able to tell. So which one does the explorist use??? Micro, Mini or Standard??? Also, there are some cards that have faster access and write times. Will this make a difference in the performance of the Gpsr?? Quote Link to comment
+kgag
Regular ole sd memory Like the ones seen here. http://www.geocaching-supplies.com/browsep...n-Locators.html The new garmin machines use micro sd. Thanks, kgag. Quote Link to comment

Not really...there's not that much reading and writing done to the card. Go for the cheapest deal you can find (on somewhere other than the Magellan site...it's not bad for information, but they charge top dollar for anything you buy directly from them).
