Bigger problem is that there's no support to enter user-provided content (cache descriptions, maybe even logs) in several languages and search by those. Now you can enter a cache description in several languages in the space provided, but the system doesn't know which languages you used. If there was a separate page for each language (having a language code, short and long description and hint, no need to enter coordinates, attributes etc for all of them), you could print only the text you can read. Also you could do searches like "Traditional caches near Hamburg, Germany with description written in English". We wouldn't have many foreign visitors to our caches in Finland, if we wrote descriptions only in our own language The cache hiding guidelines, FAQ and other text content seems to be a bit out of date (compared to what is said in forums) even in one language, so I think it's better they are not translated. Also, having the guidelines in, say, French would give image that they are written with French circumstances, practices and laws in mind. Link to comment
