ccccacher
I'm looking for the most inexpensive, handheld gps unit which works well for both geocaching and road mapping. Any advice? Thanks! Quote Link to comment
+geognerd
The Magellan eXplorist 210 is a good deal for a first GPS receiver. It has computer connectivity, 22MB of storage for maps, antenna/receiver performs well, and can do turn-by-turn routing. It costs about $150. There are cheaper receivers, and there are receivers that have more features. The 210 is a good value. Quote Link to comment

Soultrance
I got an eXplorist 210 just recently to start caching and I love it. Very easy to use, easy to navigate and the geocaching software on it is very simple to use. I reasearched a lot before making my choice and decided that the 210 had the best features at the value. I got mine for $222 Canadian at GPSCity.ca with free shipping. In summary: the 210 rocks, I highly recommend it. Quote Link to comment
