Cornplanter Posted January 1, 2006 Share Posted January 1, 2006 I have a Garmin Legend C. I just got back from a hike. I loaded the waypoints into the GPS and used the postion of my car as the starting point. When I got back home I loaded the way points into the Route page. When I accessed the "Map" option at the bottom of the Route page, the unit is figuring out the distance from my present location and not from starting point (where I parked my car during the hike).
