+last12know
am a premium member of geocaching.com and am a little familiar with pocket queries..but am unable to search for subject specific caches or figure out how to search for specific attributes of caches... for instance i would like to hunt a few nite caches only or maybe a few during the day around trout streams.... have been using pda to download cache descriptions and then trying a search within pda parameters but it isn't the easiest way to do it ....or is it? any reply appreciated.. last12know p.s. haven't been a member that long Link to comment
+Touchstone
There's no easy way to do what you want on gc.com because there is no attribute attached to a particular style of cache (other than the usual star ratings, and the puzzle/multi/letterbox/regular attributes). Youre best bet is to either post on the forum for your area, or to find the website for a local organization near you. Just based on your finds, I'd say the Iowa Geocachers Forum would be a good place to start. There's probably a bunch of nice people over there that could answer your question in a heartbeat. Happy hunting. Link to comment
+Quiggle
Recent thread on searching for night caches. As Touchstone suggested, contact your local geocaching club for help determining which caches fit your criteria. Closing duplicate topic. Link to comment
