+G.O. John and Carol
The emoticons near the beginning of log entries usually don't show up in my browser unless I refresh the page several times. This started a couple of weeks ago. It's kind of annoying. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks! Link to comment

+The Jester
Have you tried deleting your temporary internet files (in IE Tools->Internet Options...->Delete Files)? Link to comment
Jeremy
Running low on memory can do this too. Since the images are served on the same domain you wouldn't normally have trouble unless you recently installed an ad blocker and it is mistakenly thinking that the emoticons are advertisements. +Glenn
Deleting the temp files seems to have worked! Thanks for the suggestion!! Yep. It usually does the trick. In fact I had IE on my Pocket PC acting weird on me today. Delete all the cached files and everything went back to normal. I went from 2MB free space to 25MB free space. Temporary files, yea right! +The Jester
I ran into this once, when I couldn't view the source of a webpage, so I try and do it every so often. Link to comment
+G.O. John and Carol
As it turns out, deleting the temporary files only helped very briefly. Turns out that some setting in McAfee Privacy Manager, (or whatever it's called) was the problem. I just uninstalled it for now, and things are fine. Link to comment

I think you can make some sites trusted so you can still get the emoticons but will maintain privacy on other sites. Link to comment
