Does EasyGPS support eTrex Legend C? When I go to EasyGPS web site to see about configuring my Legend C, I can only find eTrec GPS. Plus it apprears that I can not send an email to their support group. Any help would be appreciated. :)

You can use EasyGPS with the Legend C, but you have to tell EasyGPS that it's a GPSMAP 60C. (If you just select "Legend", it will try to use the serial port, but the Legend C doesn't have one. By claiming you have a 60C, it tells EasyGPS to use the USB port.)

To do this, in EasyGPS select File -> Preferences -> Add GPS -> Garmin -> GPSMAP 60C, and click "OK'.

That worked. I knew something was wrong, but did not know how to fix it. I could have never figured that out by myself.

I can't tell you how much I appreciate your help. This forum is really great.

And I should pass the credit on to someone else (Neo Geo, I think). I never cease to be amazed at the breadth of knowledge and experience around here, and the willingness of people to share.

I had to set the GPS recieving to 60CS for mine to accept the messages, for some reason the new Legend and Vista C's both aren't on their "GPS List".

It works well for me now.
