+mini cacher
See this waymark: http://www.Waymarking.com/waymarks/details...bd-220aa87ef196 (ouch that url is ugly) I can assure you it is not in Alabama... Any plans to make sure this can't be done? Like a nice little "hey, the coords you entered don't seem to be in the state/country you selected... perhaps you'd like to try agan?" type error message. Just a thought. Link to comment
+cache_test_dummies
I accidentally assigned one of my waymarks to Alabama as well, but noticed the mistake later and fixed it. For me, the problem was caused when I didn't give the page enough time to refresh the State/Province list after selecting the country, and I got confused. I agree that it would be help if there was some checking of State/Province vs posted coordinates, but I recognize the difficulty in implementing such a check. Perhaps the first (i.e. default) State/Province in the list should be "--please choose a state/province--" so at least if you accidentally get the default state instead of your intended state it will appear as something oither than 'Alabama'. +mini cacher
Yes, defaulting the state to be something that is not a state would at least force you to make a choice. I see now that with the default being alabama, there will be a lot of waymark accidently put in alabama. Link to comment
