+sc93 Posted August 27, 2005 Share Posted August 27, 2005 I found a travel bug. ( Run Like A Deere) I didnt log the number on paper as I was out caching and I dropped it off in another cache. When I came back home to log it on geocaching.com I was not able to because I dont know travel bug #. So Im p.o.'d at myself but want to make right on it. What can I do? Quote Link to comment
+cache_test_dummies Posted August 27, 2005 Share Posted August 27, 2005 Email the owner and explain the situation. They might be willing to provide you with the TB number so you can make the appropriate logging entries. The other possibility would be to email the person who dropped the bug just prior to your pick up and ask if they happened to have kept a copy of the number. If all else fails, the next person to grab the bug will likely just do a 'grab' and it will all get straightened out. Quote Link to comment
