Durango Co Area

[Team Happy Wanderers]

We'll be staying in Durango at United Campground Fourth of July week and will be geocaching. Ideally we'd like to bike to some of these caches so having a specific location of the CG would help us chose those that are close.

 

We'd also be interested in the location for the train stop in Silverton as we thought if we could find one within walking distance it would be worth a try.

 

If anyone has a waypoint marked for either of the above locations, sharing them would be greatly appreciated.

 

And lastly, anyone have any "favorites" around the Durango area that are easy to moderate in difficulty?

Looking at my mapsource map, I figure this will be close to the station in Silverton.

Sorry I can't help you with the local cache suggestions. It was way before geocaching that I was there.

Have a good time. Maybe next summer that will be on my itinerary for vacation.
