Identifying New Caches Only...how???

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm using GSAK ver 5.5.1. What I would like to do is identify new caches when I load my weekly updated pocket query (.gpx file) with the flag option. Is there a setting that allows the new caches to be "flagged" as opposed having all updated caches bing flagged? I feel as though I am missing a simple checkbox or something.

Thanks for the input,

Joe B.

Or you can use a filter.

1. Go to /Search /Filter to bring up the "Set Filter" dialog

2. Go to the DATES tab of the dialog

3. Change "Placed date" to use "During"

4. A new field prefixed with "The last" appears. Fill that it with what you want. (e.g., "Placed date" {During} "The last" { 7 } {Days} gives you all caches that are new this week.)

5. Optionally change the unit of measures.

6. You probably want to click the SAVE button and give the filter a meaningful name such as "New Caches This Week" so that you can select it from the General tab.

7. Click the GO button to apply the filter.
