  1. Just reviewing my caches for next week and have noticed that the all girl team The Gremlins have notched up another ton! They did it on this cache:- St Ninian's Read all about the animal attack!! It's put me right off doing that cache! Congrats! Cheers! Seasider
  2. Way to go Rich!!! Rich in NEPA reached another milestone yesterday. Of course, he chose an interesting and challenging hunt for #200: Bearfort Fire Tower. Rich's geocaching adventures (both finds and hides) continue to inspire me. Congratulations to a phenomenal geocacher and a true friend. R, you're the best! Zhanna
  3. Congrats to the Molinnis Crew who recently topped the double century. Good going seeing as they are based all the way down in Cornwall.... arrrrrr
  4. Frog Tunnel look under Science. These links never work right
  5. Snow is no deterrent to jonboy. Congratulations on breaking 200 on this cache - and still not a virtual, webcam or locationless among his finds! (We'll forgive you for those drive and dumps in Florida ) Truly hard core. Thanks also for placing some great caches. Cache on!
  6. I'm getting really hooked on this PDA Geocaching thing. The problem is I really do not know alot about PDAs. I currently have a Merd-Plat GPSr. I really like the idea of not having to print out all those geo-webpages. So my question is, what PDA do you all recommend for geocaching. I'm not looking for the top of the line PDA! It should be able to do the following: (1) Be able to fill with Geo-caching webpage info (100 geo-caches for example). (2) Load Maping software (Topo and/or street maps). That way it could be a reference only for my GPSr Mapsend software. (3) If you can think of anything else useful please let me know. I'm pretty green to PDA capabilities! If the $200.00 limit is not possible for the above wishlist please feel free to suggest what PDA to use. The reason I'm looking for a fairly cheap one, is because if I drop it, I'm not out $400.00 bucks
  7. Well done that man. On to 300. ---------------- Dog be with you.
  8. Ttepee reached the two hundred mark on Oct 8th with her find of my cache, jonboy's Drive in http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?ID=56290 Congratulations to one of the most active Hudson Valley cachers. jonboy
  9. Congratulations to etoast on his 200th find. Done on his GC anniversary.
  10. Finally! Out of the 100's! Did 105 finds this month alone, with 21 of them just today, to push me to 205 total finds. I had to keep up with another local team, Tsegi Mike and Desert Viking, before they started getting too far ahead of me... Onwards and upwards... I know, I will probably get flamed for posting this (seems these days you get flamed for posting ANYTHING ) but I just thought I would share, that's all... Anyone else go on a cache-finding frenzy lately? Is it the Mars thing that has been making people crazy? And whatever happened to Monica Lewinsky? Can we open up a dialogue here, people?
  11. Another milestone achieved - BZ!!! (You can ask me what this means later for those who don't know - more dadgum code?) Something hidden. Go and find it. Go, and look behind the Ranges -- Something lost behind the Ranges. Lost and waiting for you . . . Go! - Rudyard Kipling "The Explorer"
  12. Keep taking those pictures, monkey-man. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ War is God's way of teaching Americans geography. -Ambrose Bierce, writer (1842-1914)
  13. Just a quick Heads up for Paul and his 200th find. Congrats ! -Robert

  16. Congratulations on a great achievement I'm sure you could have got many more than this by now, but you have spent so much time setting such excellent caches for the rest of us to find! Keep up the good work. Good to meet you at Alston, also Mrs. Dan who keeps you on the right track
  17. I just noticed this milestone accomplishment while logging into another cache. Congrats to one of DC/NoVA's premier cachers and cache hiders!! Success is not measured by the position one has reached in life, rather by the obstacles overcome while trying to succeed. - Booker T. Washington
  18. Deal: Palm Pilot with Magellan GPS Add-on, $200 total From the Staples flyer that you will find in the Thanksgiving Day newspaper. Go here to view the ad flyer on-line (look for the image of the Palm in the upper left corner of page 1 and click on it to see the items on page 1, then click on the link to the Palm.) staples.ed10.net/ud/9K2V/UT9H/95GL/UP/6MFPK2 The Deal: Palm Vx Connected Organizer, regularly $300, on sale for $200 **PLUS** over $260 worth of free accesories, including the Magellan GPS for Palm Vseries add-on. I have no experience with the Palm + GPS combo, but it looks like a decent rig at a super price. NOTE: This is an EARLY BIRD SPECIAL, good only 7:00 AM - 10:00 AM on this Friday, 11/23/2001.
  19. Just seen that Subarite has made it to 200 today! Well done Andy, just as the tallies have been removed from the cache pages as well. Never mind, someone noticed. Looking at your list you've put in a marathon effort these last couple of days to get there. Do you still work or are you now devoting your life to the noble sport full-time now!! Congratulations again. Peter _________________________________________________________ It is better to regret something you did, rather than to regret something you didn't do.
