I spent 24 years in the U. S. Navy as a submarine "nuc" ET. The title refers to the first submarine I was assigned to (USS Lafayette), and on which I earned my dolphins. Since FBM submarines have two crews (Blue and Gold), the "G" means that I was on the "Gold" crew.

I've done one Liar's cache so far. The initial write up was fun to read, and when I started it, it seemed like a normal puzzle cache where you gather numbers from several different locations, and then at one of the locations it will tell you how to arrange the numbers for the final cache. When I got to the final cache, and found out what it really was, then is when it got hard. Now I had to try to make up a story to go along with the hunt. I definitely had to think a while before writing up the log, but overall it was a fun cache.

Basic Members finding Premium Member caches

In my opinion, if a non-premium member is out caching with a premium member, and they find the cache together, then it should be a legitimate find for tne non-premium member. There may be financial reasons why a cacher cannot be a premium member, but due to the caching community, will go caching with others who are premium members. In the event that they go caching with these premium members, their finds should be as legitimate as those logged of the premium cachers.
