Hi all, i don't know if someone has the same problem, but i've been noticing that on "polished silver" and "nickel" geocoins, there are some dark spots appearing on the metal. This isn't common but before starting to try to clean the geocoins, i would like to ear from you. Thanks Paulo

Hello There's more on Europe than VAT and IVa and taxes and customs, and ... Now there is a new geocoin. I finally receive mine and i'm ready to send them to those I agree in trades. That's apples and oranges. I am not talking about import or customs taxes, which all countries may or may not charge depending on the package. I accept that I may have to pay that. I am talking about VAT or sales tax... Me either avroair. Those 21% here are due for sales tax. I didn't tell you about customs taxes. those are cheaper but they do exist.

Now i'm shocked. Should i move to Oregon When i order from Europe i had to pay VAT, that´s called IVA in Portugal (which is included in the price) , and i had to pay it when i Buy from foreign shops, specially american on-line shops. Here we are taxed (sometimes when customs selects our packages to inspection) with 21% extra on the geocoins (by teh way we should stop calling these "game tokens" geo"coins", that makes every bell inside customs rang PL

A piada de tudo o que está a acontecer, seja lá o que for que nos recambiou para aqui (??), é que ontem estva a criar um post com a associação espanhola, precisamente para lançar no forum a discussão da Associação Portuguesa. A minha opinião é que está na hora e julgo que mais pessoas entendem o mesmo. Outras decerto terão opinião contrária, mas em todo o caso deveriamos pensar em iniciar uma discussão alargada dos prós e dos contras, no sentido de se criar uma entidade com estatuto juridico que, sem retirar a liberdade que a actividade pressupõe, permita a abertura de novas portas e apoios na gestão do geocaching.pt PL
