  1. I have a POW-MIA coin that will be ready to ship around 4-15. I attached the artwork and should have an actual image in a few days. There will be 900 regular edition coins and 100 limited edition in two-tone metal. If there is a lot of extra demand, I might do another run to fill all orders.

The coin is 1.75" diameter and it has hard enamle coloring.

You can add your name to my email list to be notified to when they go on sale next week by going here: Email sign-up

Cost will be $8 per coin and I will sell a limited amount of the LE version at $12 per coin.

To clear up the confusion, all of the profit will be donated to the VFW and the P.O.W. NETWORK.

I'll take one of each metal

  2. I have found a couple of geocoins. Both had somewhere they were trying to go. One in particular upsets me. It is a nice Colorado Geocoin started in the great state of Washington. It's goal is to get to Ireland. This is a travel bug deal, not a geocoin deal. Geocoins should be used for collecting. Put it in your favorite cache, if someone pics it up and has a trackable geocoin of their own, then they can replace the coin and keep yours. Hence they are able to collect coins. If you find a geocoin and do not have one to replace it with, you may take it and put it in your favorite cache, but you cannot keep it!

PLEASE STOP USING GOECOINS AS TRAVEL BUGS!!!!!!! I THINK I WILL KEEP THE NEXT ONE I FIND THAT IS BEING USED AS A TRAVEL BUG!!!!!

Please feel free to beat me up on this, but I hate to see coins used as travel bugs!!

If you want to collect geocoins, get with the program buy a few and trade for a few more. If the owner wants to release a geocoin as a TB with a goal and track their progress let them Thats what "trackable" means. I certainly would be concerned if one of my TBs (geocoins or other), when there are cachers out there that would just keep a Geocoin just because.

  3. Approved the final art work and they should be up for sale in about a month or so at [link removed by moderator - when you have a link that leads directly to the coin, insert it here] will post the sale date when I get notified of when that will be. The icon I requested is the rising sun symbol but haven't heard back about it yet.

I like all three of them I already placed an order for Bailey’s Nippon 2006 Geocoin. Will SAFFIER & STEKELSTEEF Personal Geocoin and the Japan coin go on presale? Put me on the list for 2 each. Can't wait

  4. This sounds like the chain reaction tb released a few years ago. The goal was to get the tB into as many caches and an log as many miles as possible before 2006. When you find the chain reaction tb you make a photcopy of of it and place it into another cache, you can replicate it as may times as you want and put in as many caches as you can. I beleive it was terminated early due to some policy violation or something. I don't know the details.
