Same problem here, I'm using Time Warner's Roadrunner.com
It might be helpful if those of us reporting a "delivery issue" post the ISP we are using from now on.
Well, I do not believe that it is 'an' ISP issue. I ran my PQs on Friday from home up in Virginia (Verion DSL, and GMail) and then ran more down here in Florida (Windstream and GMail) and the results are the same...EQUALS Groundspeak problem! So many different PQ problems via so many ISPs and E-Mail services=Groundspeak problem!

Groundspeak should hire a business manager, someone with expertise in how to deal with customers.
Naaaaah, they don't need no stinking customers anyway! RIOT at Groundspeak HQ tomorrow morning as they open their doors! Don't mess with a Geocachers PQs!

My pocket queries ran about 45 minutes ago, but I have yet to receive my emails for them. Normally, they are received in a few minutes after they are run.
Well, I am sitting here and STILL awaiting PQs that 'ran' visibly on my 'list' but I have NOT received them yet...they 'ran' on FRIDAY! 'Good Friday!'? Semper Fi MAC!

NO! It is NOT JUST YOU! I have had trouble for the last few days. AND to beat all the response I received when I wrote Groundspeak to inquire was flipant and very rude! Perception and translation is everything! And even after 5 hours went and I recontacted Groundspeak about the LONGER THAN USUAL DELAY which has now evolved into DAYS, I still have not received some of my PQs! Guess the economy is not going to get better anytime soon! Customer service drives the economy...when customer service is bad, FOLKS STOP GIVING COMPANIES THEIR BUSINESS! So, read and enjoy this very 'pleasant' response I received when I dared question why my PQs have not arrived. Semper Fi MAC!

PQs can take a little time to get to you. 45 minutes on a Friday, when there are a lot of PQs running is not a long time. You should get them today at some point.

Would someone please walk me through setting up my GSAK to export my Geocaches into my Nuvi 680 as POIs, but instead of only showing in a list as 'POI,' actually showing as GCXXXX - Name of Cache?

From the "Geocaching Home > My Details > Geocaches Owned/Found" page, I have been unable to go back to previous months by clicking on the small 'back' arrow. I E-mail Groundspeak directly and received a reply that they recognized the problem and were addressing it. It has been at least a couple of weeks...maybe longer...and still no fix? Now we cannot get our pocket queries E-mailed to us either? Please tell me that you guys aren't cutting back due to economic reasons! Geeeeeez! What are we going to have to do to get these issues addressed? Please advise...Over!

I have also ran two PQs and a MyFinds query and none have arrived! What's up Geocaching.com? It can't be all the fault of all the ISPs out there!

Is it me, or has the site started to totally randomize the order of cache find logs (and note logs...) when one goes to My Account?I know it used to be a reverse order of when you logged them, but the other day I did five or six caches, and wrote a note log, and the actual order that they show up on the "My logs (last 30 days)" for that day is completely random, not reverse, not forward, no relation to the order I wrote those logs.<snip>
I too have been noticing all of what you mention, and I *guess I'm glad I'm not the only one. I hope that this is just a random (sic) occurrence, and that things will return to the way they were. What's the point of going for "special" caches for milestones if all the logs show up willy-nilly? ... Well, I guess we should be glad that they show up at all, otherwise we might as well join that subset of cachers that just go out and find caches without ever logging anything.
I also reported an issue with regards to 'Geocaches' for my account. When I attempt to click to a previous month, it goes nowhere. GC.com even acknowledged my problem, stated they are working on it, BUT as with all companies with any measure of success, they soon become bored with their customers and feel they do not need to correct problems in a timely fashion or for that matter even keep the customer abreast of what they are doing! Highly irritated here! Semper Fi MAC!

The Oregon is a GREAT unit. I think many people here are focusing too strongly on a few negatives which aren't really major issues when you are actually using the thing. It's great, i love it.
Okay, so what are the negatives of the Oregon now--anyone?
What are the negatives of the Colorado now? (You can't use 'not a touchscreen' as a negative.) :)I know, it's the Oregon wiki...oh well. How about limiting it to receivers, chipsets, antennas, drifting, WA, accuracy (clear and in mountainous forest on cloudy day).
I just disconnected my Colorado from 5 V leaving unit on under battery, moved unit 25 feet southeast, returned to exact same spot, plugged into external power again and noticed the location marker was 25 feet off to the east. It seemed stable there after not moving for five minutes or so. I turned the unit off and on and the location marker was back in its "correct" location where I've been averaging waypoints for over 24 hours now. Was this Drift? Was 25 feet excessive? Does the Oregon never experience this? With the Oregon, when you attempt "manual waypoint averaging" by manually setting waypoints over a prolonged period of time, what cluster diameter do you basically end up with for the Oregon? For my Colorado I end up with around a 20 foot diameter core.
I've used the Cororado successfully too for auto-routing and geocaching and I basically like it. But I still think Garmin did a poor job beta testing it and should not have released it when they did--and likewise from what I've read the Oregon too. That doesn't mean things may not be better now by a magnitude from when these units were released. It just means their release was premature and Garmin wittingly set us up to finish beta testing them for them at our cost. You can argue that that is the way it is now with technology and I can still argue that it is dirty business as far as I'm concerned. The Colorado should be as good a GPS as the Oregon if not a couple notches better by now since it has been out longer--it isn't and that's dirty dirty dirty!
Maybe g-o-cashers needs to get a replacement Oregon and go over all his points on the Oregon and finish up a good review of the GPS if you all think the beta testing was so good and that the remaining problems are so minor?
And maybe he should do likewise with the Colorado? I'm just dying to see the Colorado go from 2 to a 4 out of 5 rating--but not holding my breath.
My negative for the day...I am trying to project a waypoint. Could not remember exactly how to do it on my Oregon, so, I went to the owner's manual. Guess what...I could not find anything in the very thin owner's manual. Anyone have the answer for me?
As far as the deleting the Geocaches you have found, I am upset about that issue. I want to be able to delete the waypoints (easily accomplished) AND delete any other data that I have installed without doing a complete reset or deleting out an entire file. That just doesn't make good sense! What is it with Garmin and their lame attempts at product creation. They obviously have multiple competing developers who cannot and do not talk to one another to determine where mistakes have been made and work TOGETHER to prevent the same mistakes from repeating themselves! Geeeeeez PEOPLE!

I did a road trip last week and noticed every time the trip odometer got over 1000 miles it would go crazy and start reading 9000+ miles. This happened three times on the trip. Every time the trip odometer went over 1000 miles it went crazy and started reading in the 9000+ miles.
Anyone else have this happen?
I haven't seen this but I haven't let my trip odo go this high either. I'll add it to the Issues List if others can confirm it. Probably worth a call to Garmin as well.
Or, is it like a car and cannot be reset?

This is not the problem. I can reset the 'Trip' odometer without a problem. However, if you choose to display the odometer, it will give you a gawd awful large number just like your car odometer does. It seems like Garmin created this odometer for measuring the legs on each GPS.
Also, the Oregon can hold up to 1000 waypoints. When I load Geocaches, they are not reflecting in the waypoint manager. Does this mean that they are not being counted 'against' that 1000 waypoint count? Does that then mean that I can load in as many Geocaches as memory allows?
Geocaches and waypoints are different on the Oregon. Only non-geocache waypoints count against the limit of 1000. At least on the Colorado (and probably on the Oregon) geocaches are limited to 2000 in addition to the 1000 waypoints.

I have noticed a problem with the trip odometer on my OR 400t

I purchased my Oregon 400T last week. Used it this past week whilst camping up in Massachusetts. Resetting the trip odometer is easy enough, however, I for one would love to know how to reset my odometer. Or, is it like a car and cannot be reset?

I would like to suggest that when a user enters a waypoint, i.e., for suggested parking, the link to the waypoint would point to a map interface vice just a 'waypoint information' page. Anyone agree?

I have created quite a number of puzzle caches. People have said they like them, so they must at least not be terrible.
Here are my criteria for what makes a good puzzle cache:
- It must be solvable. That may seem obvious, but you'd be surprised. Some people think that putting out an unsolvable cache proves that they are smarter than anyone else. In reality, creating an unsolvable puzzle is trivially easy.
- It must require less tedium to solve than it does to create. Nobody is interested in a puzzle cache that requires hours of work to solve, especially when creating the puzzle was easy for the hider. On the other hand, I greatly appreciate a puzzle that took hours to create but can be quickly solved after the right flash of insight.
- Don't make people solve long, tedious puzzles on the road. There's nothing wrong with a multicache that contains puzzles, but I would find a multi for which each stage took hours to solve infuriating. The best puzzle caches are those for which any time-consuming problems can be solved before starting on the hunt, IMO.
- When the right answer is obtained, it must clearly be the right answer. I've done a couple of puzzles where there were several possible "right" answers that all gave reasonable coordinates. I dislike those because there is no way to tell that you've solved the puzzle correctly.
- In retrospect, the puzzle solution must make sense. That means that everything in the puzzle fits together. Ideally, everything should fit into a single storyline that enhances the cache.
- No obscure red herrings. Oscure clues in the cache name or description are great, but making those clues intentionally misleading makes for a frustrating caching experience.
Anybody else have ideas about what makes a good or bad puzzle cache?

YOU ARE my hero! I wish all those who have created puzzles in our area would have read your words of wisdom! We here in the Northern Virginia area have been unfortunately blessed with some of the most powerful brains in the universe. I believe that those with such awesome powers often forget themselves and create puzzles that are practically unsolvable. Then, there are those of us who are relatively new to the sport of Geocaching and would like to learn how to solve them, but the cache creators are elusive and unwilling to part with their knowledge. Then what? Well, I have left many cahces untouched because of such attitudes. Thus, infuriation abounds within me towards those who would create a cache with the intent of it never being found to prove to themselves just how awesome their brain pans are. Again, thank you for your words of wisdom. Semper Fidelis.

I think everyone should "try." I don't like giving out hints like candy. I'll typically ask someone what they done so far/where they've looked. If it sounds like they haven't a darn thing I won't give them much.No, I take that back. I did help someone with a multi that was basically a puzzle cache in nature. It had a little flaw in its design that was throwing people off. You could only get it right if you made a mistake...or what certainly looked like one.Eh...I don't care. I figure if people get to the point where they're asking for help, then they're probably not going to get it otherwise. A cache not found is a cache not enjoyed.
Someone's going to flame me for this, but I don't care. It's just too hot today for me to care. Flame me tomorrow.
What I personally find the most frustrating is the puzzle caches that are created that can only be solved in the mind of the creator. I understand the thrill of figuring out a puzzle cache. I have enjoyed a few of them, but only a few. The reason I have not personally attacked more is because many of them are becoming increasingly more and more difficult, if not simply impossible! Especially if you do not think 'EXACTLY' like the person who created the cache. When creating such a cache, the one creating it really needs to 'wargame' it out to see jsut how difficult it would be if they were to try it without already knowing it. I read something about placing Geocaches that has brought me some grief...it read along the lines that the cache placer truly wants their cache to be found...otherwise why place it? I have found this to not be the case in some instances. These puzzle creators are merely trying to see how many people they can frustrate with their 'awesome' puzzling abilities. HUMBUG!!!!! I have begun my own personal campaign against such individuals. Semper Fidelis.

Alrighty...I am perplexed by Groundspeak's perspective. I made a suggestion that the website should offer PQs for benchmarks as well. The response I received was to post my suggection in the forums and let the 'Geocaching' community decide if it is a good idea or not. Why not just take a suggection and act on it. Groundspeak, read a suggestion, analyze it, ask yourselves if it makes sense. If it makes sense, do it. If it does not make sense, do not do it, but offer a reason for it not making sense to you. Frankly, if the customer wants it, shouldn't you do everything to make the customer happy? That attitude is slowly fading in the commercial world and it perplexes me...if you upset your customer base too often, eventually, you may find yourself wanting for a customer base. Just a resonable man making a resaonable request. Why not grant it to him? We are talking some code generation maybe? Would it be worth making the customer happy? The world is already full of folks who think that their opinions and points of view are WAY more important than everyone elses' so give where you can...it might even come back around in a positive light for you. Wherigo BUILDER FOR VISTA?

Would someone please let me know if the Wherigo builder will work for Vista? Recently, I broke down and upgraded my computer...okay...okay....the old one finally DIED! But, I had to get a new one. So, I go to redownload the builder and as I read, I noted it did not mention Vista as a compatible OS. Anyone? Thank you. Semper Fidelis.
