[Garmin Nuvi - True Paperless Geocaching]

For some reason, I cannot access the GPX file. I followed all of the steps of the tutorial, but the folder C:\ProgramFiles\gsak\garminpoi is never there. I have looked all over for the GPX file and it is shown as being exported to my "User" folder, but when I open that folder it is not there either. Could it be that I need a firmware update for my Nuvi? I did not think that was the challenge as I have not even gotten to the point where I can upload to the Nuvi anyway. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am going to try to find a new copy first. If I have no luck, I will post an offer. It sounds as if there might be some challenges using the software.

[MapSend DirectRoute v.3]

I bought an Explorist 500XL from a vendor, and I purchased DirectRoute v.3 from Magellan. I have now returned the GPS, due to many reasons.

Is there any use for this software? It had been installed in the GPS, and the software docs state there is a single use license.

I do not plan on buying another Magellan and hate to think I am stuck with a $200 coffee coaster now.

I do not know if this is a real word or if I have coined a new term, but it refers to Geocachers that take swag (usually geocoins and / or travelbugs) and do not log them. Many times I have been to caches expecting to find coins or TBs and they are not there. Anyone else out there have this challenge?
