Buttonwillow has a Starbucks now....
Sounds good! I guess we'll be staying in Buttonhole, CA. I think we are driving back Sunday. -
Werent too many families paying $100/mo for tv and internet in the 1960s either.
It is all about priorities.

There obviously needs to be a 2TF designation added after this cache!
-
What is next? Deleted logs for not posting a copy of your National Forest Adventure Pass?
You could have found the cache by traveling through the methlab to the west of it.
The owner of GC19GW9 deleted a first to find log because the "first to finder" made the find during a local park's "closed" hours. I think this is bull. Am I wrong here? Are cache owners police officers now?

I bought the Topo 2008 and it rocks!
-
Oh yeah, its Garmin's fault. hahaha.

I have an Explorist 210 and just bought a 60csx..... A much better improvement.
The 210 is no longer upgradeable with firmware or topo maps or anything.

That gives me an idea. An upsidedown St. Joseph TB at an unsold flipper house. Maybe hide it near the forlorn For Sale sign and untouched flyers.

I have been doing this a year and still feel dumb at times. Just last week I hiked a couple miles for 2 caches LOGGED THE DAY BEFORE and I couldnt find them.
-
I received an email last week stating they were processing it.

Many more "urban nomads" in the Stockton Tower area.... I once came across a DB there.

Obviously, he must have had a Garmin!
>>>I also had to wonder how he was getting such a good signal in such dense tree cover

Are they all film cannisters?
The reason I’m saying this is because there is a cacher in my area (I wont say who out of respect), that has over 650 caches. It may be all well and good to own quite a few, but that many surly can cause a few down sides.

did they find a body?
-
You will probably have to wait til people get them in service to see what it can do.

Is Magellan selling propietary AA batteries also?
-
I just ordered one on Amazon. I think it was the continued frustration with my Magellan that finally did it.
The next feature set is satellite map overlays I guess.....but they will be a premium price when they come out.

That isnt their Christmas sale...that is in a few weeks. That means they are blowing out those GPS receivers to make way for the new lineup

My Magellan Explorist 210's joystick just failed after six months...and the customer support has been nearly non-existant.
I wouldn't recommend Magellan to anyone.
-
The joystick on mine failed today while caching....it only goes three directions now. I guess it is under warranty, so they are going to fix it....
For Geocaching it is great....fits in your hand...or your pocket, and easily loads waypoints. I bought it through Amazon when I received a gift certificate during the holidays.
Does anyone know why it has become so hard to find Magellan 210 units these days?

go to Shawmut Grave View...but dont climb that mtn like I did (in Feb)
Tooltime and Loop101 have some interesting items in them. Most of the others I have hit in the area have been small/micros

Be sure to piece the bug to the hamster's ear...or else it might fall off

The OLD PEOPLE were taken out by the tsunami.

I realized I have been holding on to three TBs for two months....I will try to move them along tomorrow...

Verizon just replaced my EnV2 on Sunday, and with the refurbished phone, turned on Verizon Navigator for free for one month. When I tried it for the first time in the Starbucks parking lot, I have to say I was shocked at how accurate it was. I thought it would be off a couple hundred feet or something...but it seemed as accurate as my Garmin
