    Wherigo caches are here

    Will it work on the Nokia 6110 I wonder....

    I too, thought that Wherigo caches where out of my capabilities with my Nokia E65 and Bluetooth receiver. While stumbling around on the forum 2 weeks ago, I came across a Java program called (openWIG) that plays Wherigo cartridges. It will work on most cellphones that has a GPS built in or Bluetooth GPS connected. I have tried and tested this software, Thus I have been able to build, test and publish my own Wherigo cache. Any one interested in this program you can download it here Visit Link. Now that more people can join in on the Wherigo fun. I hope to see some more Wherigo caches popping up soon.

     

    We successfully completed iNokia's Irish Quest cache today using a Nokia 6110 and had an absolute ball in the process. It took us an additional hour to complete because of our inexperience in such games, but the theme of the cache and the location was absolutely magic. A cache we can highly recommended. :drama:

    Thanks for the congratulations.

     

    Our clocking up the numbers will slow drastically as we will be home tonight and there are only a handful of new caches in the area since we took to the road two months ago (and 603 caches later!).

    We have to make the most of this tour, what with the fuel price! Don't know when we will be up in these parts again.

     

    We've seen so much and done so much, but we're not quite through yet.

    Thanks for all the well wishes. Sorry for the late response. We have been caching so much we have not had time to sit down and catch up!
