  1. That did it. I have plenty of ideas - just don't know how to "get 'er done" Thanks again for the help.
  2. I'm stuck. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I've never done anything like it and I'm stuck. I'm trying to read the system date and time. This works ok and displays everything ok: datetime = os.date("%c") Wherigo.Dialog{{Text=datetime,},} When I added this content: (I get a "Generic Message Box" with no data) t=os.date('!*t') start_time_day=t.yday start_time_hour=t.hour start_time_minute=t.min start_time_second=t.sec Wherigo.Dialog{{Text=starttimehour,},} (I've tried changing this variable to several thing like start_time_hour, t.hour, what you currently see, etc. Nothing I am doing is working.) I am right now just trying to get each of these variables to be displayed on the screen. Anyone have any ideas?
  3. Yeah, me too. Glad it was fixed but now I have two cartridges online. I can live with that. It's too bad no word from anyone from Groundspeak as to what the problem was and what they did to solve it.

What type of icons and where? Just shoot me your LUA file so I can be FTF on the cache.
  5. Updated a cartridge Tuesday. Tools --> Publish and it after weeks of it not working.... GASP!! It worked! Now, I have two of the same cartridges online with seperate GUIDs.
  6. Found this on the above mentioned link: If the format string is "*t" a table is returned containing the time information, e.g, > table.foreach(os.date('*t'), print) hour 14 min 36 wday 1 year 2003 yday 124 month 5 sec 33 day 4 isdst true If the format is preceeded by "!" the time is converted to Coordinated Universal Time, e.g., > table.foreach(os.date('!*t'), print) hour 21 min 36 wday 1 year 2003 yday 124 month 5 sec 42 day 4 isdst false Does anyone know the difference between the two times? Is one the local time vs GMT? Would this make a difference between time zones if I was comparing?
  7. Very nice. Thanks a ton for the reference!
  8. Got lucky today. Uploading is not working via the builder but I did find that it works if you upload the .GWZ file via the Wherigo website.

  10. I was hoping a reply* would be posted here but nothing as of yet. * being something from Groundspeak.
  11. It is pretty funny. Frustrating. But funny. Perhaps we should compare notes on contacts. I understand the messenger.... so I won't shoot you. LOL. I do hope, however, this will get some attention sooner than later.
  12. Contacted Groudspeak personally and was referred to this forum by them. So, once again I'll add my note. Problem is still NOT fixed. My extra two cents - rather than referring someone to the thread about the problem why not acknowledge the problem exists and get to fixing it?
  13. Just confirming this one.... t.yday or is that a typo?
  14. I am more to willing to shell out $50 a year for an ultra premium account if you ever had the option. I'd love to have a few more PQs for a quick idea (most of my PQs I don't use to cache. Just look around the country / globe).
  15. Just tried uploading a cartridge as well. Not able to do so at all. My error via the Builder: Error publishing cartridge. Publishing your cartridge file The request failed with HTTP status 405: Method not allowed.
  16. I meant to say thanks, Tequila, for the help here. I'll do some more playing to see how this works.... stay tuned.
  17. <sarcastic mode on>Thanks, Groundspeak, for your rapid response to this problem.</sarcastic mode off>
  18. os.date("%c") How can I extract the individual parts (Date, Time, Year) of this ?
  19. I don't see the file attachment.
  20. Just wondering cause I ran across two the other day that are listed on GC.com but have no container at the end. I am aware of a cache in the US that doesn't have a container. The CO wants you to post a photo of the "final" location with your log to prove you did the cartridge.
  21. Played it Friday night just a few hours after it was published too. We certainly enjoyed another Wherigo in the great State of Michigan!
  22. Last I checked I cache for the cache - not the swag. No matter what it always disappears.
  23. Here ya go: GC12880. Here is a link to The Gallery. It was large enough my kids could stand in it.
  24. Sure, use this link: http://www.geocaching.com/my/logs.aspx?s=1
