  1. I have a loggerhead. I sent you an e-mail...........................
  2. I also have the same problem, the person grabs it from the caches and keeps them for more than two months. not just coins TB's also, and her friend keeps discovering them but they dont move them along. I would like to deactive the coin. It looks like your Super Cacher coin was logged into a cache - now just to see if it's actually there and gets back on the road . I am keeping a watch on it until it gets moving along. Good Luck!!
  3. I also have the same problem, the person grabs it from the caches and keeps them for more than two months. not just coins TB's also, and her friend keeps discovering them but they dont move them along. I would like to deactive the coin. Don't give up yet. I did send the person who has your coin an e-mail and offered them a little reward for releasing your coin. Maybe they just need a little nudge in the proper direction .
  4. 1. Yes, I love to trade. 2. I so wish......... I have been lucky to have some Top 40 coins given to me by my boyfriend to use as traders or to sell and I worked with C&P and TCP to make some CITO coins for an event and had those extras to trade or sell. I have made some trades for my new personal coin, but since it has become a "re-sale" through TCP (do to some changes in my financial position) I basicly have already set up most of my trades that I will be able to make except for trades for the XLE's. I did just get some Geojellies that I will be trading . I used to buy at least 3 of every design that I ordered. It was cheaper per coin when you figured it including the shipping cost and I would activate one and trade or sell the other. I have not been doing that lately, except for the coins I had already reserved. I know I will be doing an other CITO coin in the spring since it was a big hit at the event to be able to give everyone a coin and it really helped to be able to sell the XLE's to cover the expenses of the event. Besides that, it was fun and got local cachers intersted in coins. I hope sometime to be able to do more trading once I have more of an inventory again. 3. I release all of my coins. That being said, trackability is important to me. I have made trades for non-trackable coins. I have a friend who collects and usually he is willing to trade me a newer trackable for a non-trackable. I will purposely trade for non-trackables on his seeking list knowing that he will have "something good" for me.
  5. I am pretty sure that everything in the picture is trackable. I do have a couple of non-trackables that I am going to add TB tags to as well, but they are not in the count or the picture as far as I know. Not saying that I couldn't have missed a non-trackable, but I usually set those aside and I have a friend who collects and he usually in interested in trading me a trackable for a non-trackable.
  6. Update from The Caching Place: "The expected date for completion is the 7th - with that being a Friday it may or may not ship until Monday the 10th. To be safe I think we should plan on the 13th for us to begin the sale. That way we have the coins in "hand" and can inspect them etc. I would rather push it out just a bit than to have to go back and change. If you plan to send us your orders by the 10th then we'll have them and can begin invoicing folks just the minute we get the coins." I do still have a few of the complete sets left. These will not be offered through The Caching Place. If you are interested in puchasing a complete set please send me an e-mail. People who have reserved the complete sets will receive an invoice from The Caching Place, but I am taking the reservations since I started it. People who have reservations for single coins will have an opportunity to purchase thier reserved coins prior to the main sale, but I am not taking any reservations for single coins. If you have coins reserved and would like a less expensive international shipping option please contact me ASAP and we will work something out. Thanks - Robin
  7. Participating- Received name- Mission complete- Received package- I am posting be-lated, since I am in the middle of moving everything else takes a backseat. I received a great package including a Yorkshire Dales National Park geocoin, a piggy bank geocoin and a Scaw Geotag. I don't have any of those coins, they have been activated and await the drill and tag so they can be released. My 5 year old grabbed the Scaw tokens right away to add to his "geocoin collection" Thanks so much Scaw!!
  8. Participating- Received name- Mission complete- Received package- I am posting be-lated, since I am in the middle of moving everything else takes a backseat. I received a great package including a Canadian Forces geocoin and a 2007 8 Muddy Feet, 20 Muddy Toes geocoin (which I really wanted). I love the geocoin assistant and my 5 year old grabbed the flag pin right away to add to his "geocoin collection" Thanks so much!! Not a great picture, but here it is:
  9. Ok pictures! There are more that 126 coins pictured here. There a a few that I have gotten back after they where released and I am going to drill holes in them and re-release them, so I figure those don't really count. Two special ones are in the upper left corner. The USA was my first geocoin ever released and the Serenity was one that was held by a cacher for 9 months before he was finally convinced to release it. Other special ones in that general area are the ones I obtained at MWGB and a couple above that I obtained from Centis at her event. The round one with the bear on it has been activated by Centis, but I had the choice of keeping or releasing it. They are all getting holes, tags and being placed in caches. There are some pretty cool ones, but I don't want to start keeping any or I will have a collection before I know it! If you want to get a closer look you can click on the smaller pics. Look for these soon in a cache near you. Group picture Click on these if you want a closer look:
  10. I have been moving, so other things have kind of been taking a backseat to that. I did get all of my trades packaged up yesterday and off to the post office. The only ones that did not get mailed are the people I am trading a geojelly and a duck with. I am expecting the geojellies sometime this week. I don't collect, I release all of my coins, so I am not interested in trading ducks. If you would like one I am willing to trade a geojelly and a duck for any trackable coin that I don't already have (all of my coins are activated, so check out my profile). An other way to obtain one would be e-bay. I am selling the rest of my extras on e-bay and I am including a free duck with each coin. If neither of those works for you drop me an e-mail. I am pretty easy to work with . - Robin
  11. If polite doesn't work change the coins name to "Stolen" and on the coin description explain why you have re-named the coin's name as stolen stating that you will remove "Stolen" from the title as soon as the coin has been released. Prior to doing this e-mail the person holding your coin and inform them of your intentions - or send them an e-mail with a link in it to your coin page after you have changed the name. It worked for getting my geocoin released along with 8 others the same person was holding. Or maybe it was the e-mails that he received from the caching community, or the notes posted on his cache pages, or an e-mail that had a link to the forum topic he was talked about in. Yeah, could have been any of those things . If you are real desparate and they have any caches you can change the name of your coin (with an explanation on the coin page) and then leave a note with that link on his cache pages. That will get someones attention. An other option that I am currently using to try and get a coin release is the assistance of a cacher local to the area where your coin is being held. If you can look at who owns caches in the area of where the coin holder owns caches you can contact the other local cachers and request their assistance. Good Luck!!!!
  12. I have 255 activated now; 129 have been released already and I am getting 126 ready to go now. I will have to do pictures tomorrow, my camera batteries are completely dead. One of the coolest things is that I recently got the very first geocoin I ever released back. Someone that I know picked it up at MWGB, recognised that it was mine and gave it back to me. Now I am going to drill a hole in it and attach a tag- even though it has obviously been traveling fine until this point.
  13. For people who reserved the full set, the invoice will come from The Caching Place. THe first week of September once the coins are shipping from the mint? Yes.
  14. For people who reserved the full set, the invoice will come from The Caching Place.
  15. If you would like a less expensive international shipping option please contact me ASAP and we will work something out. Thanks - Robin
  16. All reservation confirmation e-mails have been sent. If you have made a reservation and did not receive an e-mail contact me. A few complete sets still available for reservation. Thanks - Robin
  17. Life has gotten a little more challenging for me since I started this coin project. Nothing life shattering, just a lot of little bumps in the road. To help me out, The Caching Place said they will sell the coins for me (even though they no-longer re-sell personal coins). Provisions have been made so that everyone who has reserved coins with me will have the first opportunity to purchase what they have reserved. I will send an e-mail to everyone who I currently have a reservation from. If you do not hear from me by e-mail in the next 24 hours and think you have made a reservation for coins please get in touch with me. If you made a reservation and get a confirmation e-mail you do not need to do anything for now except wait for a few more weeks. Since this has gotten to be a pretty complicated project I will not be taking any more reservations for single coin sets. If you have already reserved a single coin set you will get a chance to purchase it. I do have a few of the complete 6 coin sets available and will take reservations for those sets. Pricing for the complete set (6 coins) $43.50 + $2.84 US 1st class shipping + our $2 handling fee (per order)/ $43.50 + $8.80 1st class international shipping + $2 handling fee (per order) . People who have reserved the complete sets will be invoiced once the coins have been received and inspected - probably the 1st week in September. The remaining RE sets will go on sale at The Caching Place once we have the coins in hand (around the 1st week of Sept) and the price for those will be $14.50/set. These can be purchased through the shopping cart with a choice of shipping options. I appreciate everyone's patience in what has gotten to be a long wait. This wait is in no part The Caching Places fault. The fault is totally mine - due to a change in my financial situation and having a strong desire not to do a pre-sale. Thanks for your interest in my personal geocoin. - Robin
  18. Sorry for leaving you all hanging. I am in the process of moving and it really sucks!! The coins are at the factory. I will have more details tomorrow. I have not sent out any invoices and will e-mail everyone who I have reservations for more details by the end of the week. Last chance for reservations - these coins will not be re-minted, ever !!
  19. I have one of the first geocoins that I had made on my keychain. I had it made for my "geohoney's" 50th birthday/2000th cache find. I still like to look at it, and have it available for discovery. Once I get mine in hand I will add one of those as well. At that rate I will have more geocoins on my keyring than keys . Not so long ago I picked up a geocoin for one of my friends who has a nice collection. When he came over to visit I went to look for it. I found geocoins in my pocket, some in my top dresser drawer, 3 in my dufflebag, 2 in my purse and finally found the coin I had got for him along with a few others in my car................. So yes, I guess I do usually have a few geocoins with me!
  20. These coins are up to $30 and $36 and end in a couple of hours. Proceeds will be sent to Team Donutdog to help cover what ever vet bills remain. I am so sorry for your loss.
  21. Sorry it took so long, but my auctions are now back up. LE 2007 Dragonfly geocoin, LE Copper Rot 13 Dragon Spinner. All proceeds from the auction will be sent to Team Donutdog, so bid generously. My best wishes go out to you and your dog!
  22. Whoo hoo - visual confirmation of the coin has been made . Now it's coming home so I can have a hole drilled in it and release it with a tag. Thanks for all of the comments and support.
  23. I marked my coin as "Stolen" with an explanation on the coin page why it was marked as stolen and almost immediately it got dropped in a cache. I am going to have someone stop at the cache and check it out. I hope it really was released - that would be a great ending to this!!! Thanks for all the comments and support!
  24. Well, if e-mail doesn't work I can always post a note on his TB hotel cache page. 12 people have that one on their watch list .
