I applied for one of these when we registered on the site a few weeks back so I am not holding out much hope as I am sure many will have applied before us but you never know.

It was my birthday a few days ago and my wife bought my a few tupperware boxes and lots of things to put in them so that I could hide my first geocache... She still doesn't get why I wanted some plastic boxes full of 'tat', but it was the least expensive thing on my birthday/xmas list for a while!! I went out and hid it today as well!... Hopefully it will give some people something to aim for on their boxing day walks. Al. Too far North for us to rush out to it! Hopefully get there at somepoint!

Judging by the roadmarkings I would say its in the UK, or somewhere that drives on the same side of the road as us.

Another Couple of Newbies here! We picked up our GPS Unit on Friday and completed our first cache on saturday. Within a couple of hours of logging the cache the maintainer sent us an email which was a great touch. We are well and truly hooked and can't wait to get out there again. p.s. The info here is great, all tips greatfully received! Ellen and James
