I just placed a cache by my work so that I can look out and watch everyone go madly insane as they try to find my highly urban camoflauge container! Close to something I had brought up before to the forums!

for my caches and try to come up with some unique names to catch peoples attention! My first cache was named after the park I put it in but the rest of the caches that I have hidden are now just what ever I can come up with! One cache I did was the clue for the code you had to break to solve where the coordinates where! I was always accused of having an over active imagination!

I have done two that have been in graveyards and really have enjoyed them....I too like to look at the old markers and marvel at some of the construction on the old masons and wood crafters tombstones! I have learned alot of history from those! I was brought up to be respectful so I would never trapse over anyones grave or such to find a cache! I think most people have some form of common sense so they would too! Like everyone says, there are so many caches out there, don't do the ones you dont like and don't gripe about it to the ones who do!

I do have one cache that gives the parking coordinates but that is because you have to solve the clue to find the real cache coordinates...so I used the parking as the main coords for the page...but I said that in my description! I always research before I go out and I think that is half the fun, figuring out where it is and how to get there! I love maps so it is no problem with me! Yes , I have done several caches that parking coordinates would cut the time down but it was such an adventure to find them...i think it would have taken some of the fun out!
I am finishing up another unique urban cache that will require you to park a half mile away(that is the closest and you cant park on the street, they will tow your car away or at least ticket you!) but it is such a beautiful walk I don't think people would mine! There are plenty of other caches that they can go and do! I know gas prices are high but I look at that as part of the game! If I want to go out and drive , I will pay the price!

Just have to pay more at the pump but it hasn't slowed me down though the weather has! My 351 powered truck is a gas hog but that is why she has two tanks on it! Filled up yesterday and put in $51 in gas...

I have made a birdhouse that i am going to use in the area, and yes the hole is blocked off so it can not be used, but I am putting it up with four other birdhouses that are real that I made to specs to help blend in the area! I have permission from the park people for it! I also have some urban caches that are urban camoflauge that you will have to get right on top to realize that is where the cache is! I am also making a fake scientific device that looks like a small air sampler on a post that you will have to get up to and read the small metal plaque on it that says Darkmoon Geo Technologies to realize that it is bogus! The lock is welded open with a small vacuum line to conceal the open part, it will pull right off and the box will open! As soon as the snow is gone here, I am planting it! I have a small fan in an opening but it is sealed from the inside to keep the wasps out in the summer!
For forest areas, I have been painting my cans flat black and then dry brushing tan, brown and some green that blends into the fallen leaves that we have here all year round! They are hard to see and covered with leaves you again have to be up on it to find it! We have alot of sandstone and red rock here to so I spray the can with a red primer, air brush some streaks with a lighter red on it and then spray with flat black on the top and splatter some moss green on the black with some model railroad lichen and it looks like a moss covered red sandstone rock!
I hollowed a log out but it weighs quite a bit so I haven't used it yet except in my back yard, don't know if i will place it! I am also using expandable foam to make rocks to hide some rubbermaid containers but am not quite done yet! I like painting them realistically and have had much success as one of my old hobbies was building model trains and layouts! Heck I have even glued using industrial grade glue gun adhesive fake leaves and branches to one or two containers! My micro's have been cutdown paintball pods that i waterproof and use a camo neoprene cover on that works great!
It has been some crappy weather here so the last week and a half I have been doing containers and having a ball! I can't link his page but check out the user Criminal and his homepage has a great primer on how he camo's his boxes!

From early celtic/pagan religion...the goddess of the moon was renewing her powers during the new moon phase, birth after death, part of the triology...birth, life, death and then it starts all over! Have used this name for a long time from playing games off and on line to writing stories under it as a pen name and even named my paintball team after it! Just seemed to fit me!

take the junk out of a cache and leave a better trade, and i try to leave two or three items for everyone i take! There is only a couple of caches that I have visited that i took more than one thing! Micros are about the only one I wont leave a lot of items in! I say to each his own!

I always post my email addy and a note that if this cache needs to be removed, please use the above addy and I will gladly remove it! There is even my geocaching card I made that has that info on it! And trying to find the right official is often hard work as it seems like in all government offices, you are always being passed around since no one wants responsibilty!

with my wife just for Geocaching (we called it the Great Northern Oklahoma Geocaching Tour)(heck, should have made some T-shirts)and we planned it by choosing the route, checking what caches we were going to do, having the cache pages printed with any other info that I thought would be important written on them,had some extra caches pages printed that where somewhat close so if we had extra time or something happened that we might have had to change our route! Left early last wednesday morning and got back late that night, doing 12 out of the 13 regular caches and did 12 locationless caches!We had a ball! With children, you just have to keep them entertained while traveling and know what their limits are! Good luck and have fun!
