the rumor might be that the tagline as translated by Yahoo's Portuguese to English is "The loving one of Frogs"
That's not a tagline, it's a forum title.
The tagline is at the bottom of each post (in this case, it's in French).

Rumor has is that that Lapaglia's favorite expression is the english translation of a certain moderator's tagline.
I heard a rumor that Lapaglia and the moderator you refer to are the same person.

You could have said that at the beginning and saved us having to go through this thread.

Why is it necessary to have a book when we've got these forums?
Because then you can write whatever kind of notes you want all over the book pages, and you won't get
LOL. That's a good one.

For those of you who missed the last BFL deal that Gorak posted...
I just received a flyer today for a store called XScargo -- they have BFLs on for $14.99. I'll be stopping by tomorrow morning to pick one up in Langley and will post here afterwards about the availablity at the Langley location.
The lights are made by Emerson - they are rechargable halogen spotlights with 1 million candlepower with 30 minutes of continuous operation time.
There are two stores:
Surrey
19335 Langley Bypass
604-533-9681
Richmond
3600 No. 3 Road
604-214-2067

The fairy union says that the fairies will be running over Xmas, so hopefully you folks will be able to make it over for the 27th.If the fairies aren't running then I guess you'll have to settle for that old Xmas favourite, "Tough Nuts Roasting On An Open Fire"
Yeah, I sure hope you Island folks will be able to make it over. We'll roast some tough nuts together.
It'll be good to see you guys.

Now now, be nice guys.
Dagg, I guess that the ferry situation could change your plans about coming over to the mainland over the Christmas holidays and attending the Belcarra cache event -- hopefully you'll be able to make it.

I use one of theseI found an article in the latest See Kayaker magazine (December) that shows how to build your own Solar Battery Charger -- and it's waterproof.
I'd send you a copy of it, but with no ferry service, well... you know...
Seriously though, it's the only waterproof charger that I've seen -- great for paddling.

GET BACK TO WORK!Slight annoyance? Is it a slight annoyance for the mother who has to take her kid to childrens hospital? Is it a slight annoyance for the merchant who will go broke without produce? Is it a slight annoyance for the kids on the gulf islands that can't get to school?
GET BACK TO WORK!
I find your post slightly annoying.

Ok, I'll put it this way....
As with all things, there are different levels. Just because something isn't defined by the absolute worse case scenario doesn't mean that it isn't so.
Kind of like a woman being 8 months pregnant. Yes, it's pretty darned obvious at that point that she's pregnant, but perhaps not so blatantly obvious when she's 3 months pregnant. One month or 9 months, no matter how you look at it, she's still pregnant.
You're arguing semantics here. Deleting information, and inhibiting people from expressing themselves or censoring them is a form of oppression. No matter how you look at it, the word fits.

It's rumored that an off-topic forum is not going to happen.
But the good news is that there will be an Inflamatory Posts section instead.

For only the second time in recorded forum history, let it show that I agree with J5!
What was the first?
Actually, I think we agree on much more than either of us would like to admit.

I believe that TEAM KFWB GPS put a number tag on one of the ferries. One the people from the Island should be able to confirm this.

LOL. Boy, that's pretty nasty -- what would your Mom say?
Would you rather my replies take the tone that yours takes? What if we all used the hostility you've shown in our posts? What a nice time it would be -- don't you agree?
btw: It looks like your post is off topic as well.
