It took me a while to figure it all out but it works great. Many thanks. One last shot to Jammie Z, try riding your bike across TEXAS. www.ManuelCasillas.com

  5. I wish some one would have told me that, if your going to be geo-caching you need a Compass as well as a GPS. Sometimes when your really close your unit may "freak-out" and you may need to take a bearing heading to find it.
  6. Does any one know if you can search along a river for caches near by? I am planning a two week trip down a Texas River that has a lot of population anlong the way. I am sure there are many caches but do I have to get zip codes for ever place along the river. That sounds very diffecult and time consuming. Is there a short cut?
  7. I own the GARMIN handheld...the simple model...yellow sport casing. I wanted to use it to chart out a golf course and was wondering how to set the distance reading when navigating to only read in yardage. Currently, when i'm about 400 yds from a green it will read 0.25 miles. By marking all the greens as waypoints and creating a route, I'm able to go around a golf course as if I had a GPS on the cart.
