  1. Hi there I am trying to unarchive Ghost Train 2003, I messaged 9Key my approver twice and waited almost two weeks, still no response. What can I do ? I dont think he will ever reply to me ...
  2. I hear there are lots of nice caches in Washington, why come here ?
  3. sorry accidental post but i cant delete it
  4. This point is a little off topic but has anyone else noticed how the games that come with the garmin geko are really neat ? Any hardcore geocacher will laugh at them but I have to say they have the potential to open up a new market. The idea of playing chess on a field by ur own movements against a computer is kind of neat, dorky but it can be built upon. There are all kinds of implications here other then just geocaching. Geocaching is the tip of the iceberg. If I wanted to get into any field right now it would be gps development. [This message was edited by BCguy on May 25, 2003 at 09:21 PM.]
  5. Has anyone heard any updates on the www.geocaching.ca website? Having a Canadian based geocaching site is a great idea, why doesnt someone just start one? (I would love to but cant)
  6. Hmmm, why isent canada more predominant on geocaching.com ? Has anyone actually talked to Jeremy ? see if he can make the site more Canada friendly, i mean there are TONS of Canadian that play the game.
  7. Why dont we have canadian approvers ???
  8. West coast here, Vancouver actually ......

  10. Amazon now has the sportrak colour on preorder, keep in mind these are yank dollars. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00008DHSS/qid=1046433048/sr=1-41/ref=sr_1_41/103-8101042-9098228?v=glance&s=electronics Thats it ! Enjoy !!
  11. Saweet ......... now if only amazon.ca offered those ........... Thats it ! Enjoy !!
  12. Sharpshutr - Ya, "wheresmyrebate.com" is known for being really bad at giving people their rebates, like I said, be prepared to send multiple copies of everything and dont stop calling them, seriously, get the highest person on the phone you can and let them know you wont go away, otherwise you probably wont see your money. What is everyone elses experience with their rebates ? specifically from "wheresmyrebate.com". Thats it ! Enjoy !!
  13. Geeze, I wish I had good service the time I called, dont forget I am also complaining about their rebate system, maybe I got a fluke bad call *shrug* it still left a bitter taste though. Thats it ! Enjoy !!
  14. If it means anything I have had nothing but trouble when I call them too, luckily I only had a minor question and ended up figuring out the answer before Magellan could be of any help. Also their rebate sucks. It is not done through Magellan, they do it through "wheresmyrebate.com" and they can take up to two months and they are notorius for not giving people their rebates, you have to argue and badger them and if you dont have a photocopy of the UPC label and reciept and arent willing to send them several copies of both, well they cant help you then Im a little bitter .... maybe I should just buy a Garmin ?
  15. This is probably the wrong section for this but since we dont have benchmarks like they do in the states is there something similar we can use in Canada ? Thats it ! Enjoy !!
