I sometimes wonder if we are over doing as far as filtering and clean comes to mind I know that before filtration it was making sure of cretin things like no dead animals flowing and the sort. i know that in cretin parts of the world the people are completely amuine to a few things we find in some of the "not the best" water. that said I am a fan of the electrified saltwater, I haven't done it in a wile but it is a super simple process of adding a tablet (in some cases)to an ounce or 2 of water and after running the charge adding it to a gallon of water and presto good drinking water. I don't have one of the little devices that do it but I know people that do it's kinda cool to see them in action it the size of a fat pen. and no pumping
The Snoogstress works at REI and has one of those. She swears by it. I totally don't get it, but then, I haven't done any reading about it either.
PopSci did a pice on them a couple years ago it should be in the arcives, if you wanted to check it out.

notifications are cool for some but what about adding a just hidden page ? not sorted by are but time like last 24 hours ? i find it fun to read the pages about the cash and sometimes what people have to go thro just to be a FTF. a newly hidden page or a new today page could be fun.

every one has different needs in each family or group as for me I don't care if a group of friends makes themselves a family account , I have no real family and up until recently I only cached with friends - they are my family, . I also think that every one in the "family" get all the benefits and privileges of the premium member would get normally if have family add a group/team membership as well- for some some of the extras will not be needed for others they will be loved. I am all for the family membership.

I wish they would limit the number of caches you could download per day instead of the 5 PQ limit.
That wold be much much worse. especially for newer cachers , I may look new but I have been a tag a long for ages and just finally got an old GPS, download limiting would really put a crimp on things. after doing the max of 5 PQ's you can still download GPX files , I know of some people who just hate doing PG's and like the main search page.

Winter snow is so not conducive to looking for Benchmarks - espeshily when it's drifting 2 ft high .

Jeep pigs, ugh!! We recently went to an event here in Nova Scotia and low and behold, 2 jeep TBs were dropped off. We picked up a white one and left the other, we dropped a TB in exchange. I really had to walk away from the Yellow bug Anyway, we dropped the Jeep TB in a Christmas cache as a special gift to the next cacher. Then we noticed there was a green jeep in a cache we planned on hitting and we were pretty pyched. We got to the cache and noticed someone had picked up the jeep and didn't leave ANYTHING, and he still has it!! AAHH!! What is up with some people?? He didn't cover up the cache at all. We left the TB that we had taken out for a swap anyway and covered up the cache, the cache was really cool. I know there is nothing saying you have to leave something when you take a bug but I couldn't walk away without leaving something to show that I was playing the game.
Oh well, maybe he won't continue to hord the bug and release it soon.
Thats perfectly fine if he picked it up and didnt leave anything, he solely TNLN and is "helping" the travel bug towards it goal whatever it may be. What isnt is that he didnt cover the cache and that he is not moving it.
that Is just plain rude the Cache is not soposed to be that easy to find. is hording TB's of any kind against the TOS ?
Anyone Else Find Something Illegal While Out Caching?
