I bet you had fun, though, wrapping :yikes:

I was well prepared, and a enjoyed the work, and it actually took less time than expected.

  2. Hi there,

I just got a notice about my package with coins.. It's trapped in the customs office. I will bail it out as soon as they have sorted out the paperwork. This will add 25% more cost to this coin for me. This will not affect the cost for you folks, but sometimes I get really fed up with the tax level in this country :)

  3. Dear all. Last week I invoiced everybody that had preordered because I was informed that the coins were ready at the mint and had been shipped. I misunderstood some of the information from the mint, they were ready and had been shipped to the "mint" that i ordered from. Yesterday I was informed that they are on their way to me. I'm sorry for the confusion this may have caused. I was the one to blame for this, not the mint. This is my first coin and I hope everyone can wait one extra week. Usually shipping from USA to Norway takes 5 days, but it soon Christmas and that will probably affect the shipping. The coins will be shipped the day they arrive. Me and my wife has been labeling envelopes and everything is ready for sending out the coins.

I will keep you all informed.

    Regards

    Hallgeir

  4. We won the design contest for the Norwegian geocoin 2008. When they made the 2007 version we did not know that coins usually sell out fast, and did not buy the shiny silver version. So I think the coin that we want the most is Norwegian Geocoin 2007. Probably not easy to find.

  5. Looks like a moose of a coin!

What size/thickness is it? Will you be trading / selling the coin? I'd definitely be interested in trading for one, potentially purchase one if the cost of shipping isn't too high.

As i remembered the size was 1.5 inch, but i measured one of the samples and its 42.5 mm and that equals 1.75 inch? I hope this don't affect the decision of you kind people that has reserved.

    Edit :42.5 not 44.5

  6. Thank you all for your reservations. I'm still amazed of all interest, Ihave to end the Reservations on Wednesday November 7. I still have 3 sets available for those interested. Email me if you want them.

    Sincerely

    Hallgeir

  7.

Have you reserved the coins for the guys in this thread (including me)?

Or can I only get a standard coin... that would be a pitty.

My intention was to make 20 sets of this coins, and only sell 10 of them. But there are probably not any reason for not making those available. If you want to reserve any of the 10 sets that are left, send me an email, with your info.

  8. Please add me to your list...

I would like to have one of each metal.

I'm a big fan of Scandinavia and have been in Norway twice (10 times in Sweden). Fantastic nature and lovely people...

    That's why I have this nick. ;)

Please tell me, how I can get these coins... Please! :D

Thank you all for your interest, I will contact you all when I get my samples in hand.

  9. I did not realize that so many wanted to buy/trade the coin, I will contact those who has show interest when i get the whole lot. Maybe it's better to take preorders? I don't know what's the best way of handling this as it's my first time making a coin.
