  1. I still see some abuse. Just give your friend the code and its over with. Or maybe not. Agreed, my idea is 12 hours old, although its an awesome idea it does need some tweaking. Isn't that a term used about meth-heads? They always have the best ideas. Yah, we'll they laughed at Christopher Columbus when he said the earth wasn't flat. Congratulations! You have at least one thing in common with Christopher Columbus. Are you by any chance Italian? Ever worked for the Spanish Crown? Sailed in a small wooden boat?
  2. Someone thought they were a wit. They were half right.
  3. hysterical!! Well worth the few minutes of my life I spent watching it. I don't think that's the word I would have used.
  4. Probably should be in the forums at GSAK.
  5. They have shown themselves to be April fool pranksters around here in the past. As long as it doesn't involve the completely void of any trace of humor concept of Hamster Caching, I guess I'm OK with it. The funny part of hamster caching was that rare occasion when some newbie thought it was serious. 'OMG! That's cruel!'
  6. Wow! Is that the new Binford 3000 polishing sabre?
  7. THE fool has spoken! No, I haven't! Yes you have.
  8. You get a BADGE. Is a BADGE anything like a Souvenir? Very similar. But the badges are worth 10% more.
  9. Hey look! I got first post of the second page! Do I get a smiley or a code or something?
  10. There is no part of this that isn't a bad idea. But it make for a fair to midland joke.
  11. So lets get this straight. You want to force those who don't care at all about your side game, to play whether we want to or not? As a CO, I doubt if I would pay any attention at all to a FTF code. either to put it in my cache, or to delete a log before it is used. I usually go out and hide my cache before I submit it. I don't mind running back out to do maintenance on it and to check on it. I ain't going to run back out just to put a code in it. Yes, its about time to turn the other cheek and you wouldn't have to delete logs,no one would be able to post a find until the FTF activated the code. What happens when someone like me comes along and nabs the FTF? I hardly ever log caches any more. And because you asked I am gonna turn the other cheek. There are still some bugs to work out but if the code is reported gone and not logged in a timely fashion an investigation is done and the person not logging it is banned. Haha! Don't MAKE me go to my sock drawer!

  13. GC39 The Spot Hidden by GPS Fool on 05/26/2000. Last time I checked it was still there in the same ammo can and containing the original log book.
  14. One podcast host frequently uses profanity and makes sexual innuendos. Usually dozens of times during each episode. The other host does so occasionally. I agree the podcast episodes are family unfriendly. I don't expect children to listen to the podcasts. My cache is intended for adults, just like geocaching events held in pubs are intended for adults. I think you hit the answer to your own question right there... "My cache is intended for adults..." - In other words...not a family Yes, but my cache page is family friendly. According to Groundspeak, "Cache pages should be family friendly." Because plenty of adults might enjoy the puzzle. I think the argument can be fairly made that a cache page that directs someone to non family friendly content is not a family friendly page. Even with the warning on your page and the podcast page you are still directing users to proscribed content.
  15. Just out of curiosity, why didn't you ask the people you were with?
  16. Glad you found it. That was going to be my next suggestion. I have found that it is often one or the other when I have issues.
  17. If it is any consolation I don't think the neighborhood matters. If you aren't going to maintain them it is best you don't place them.
  18. DNF only means that you didn't find the cache. I am way more likely to log my DNFs than my finds. First of all they are almost always more interesting. Second they add up. One DNF means someone din not find it. Six or seven means it probably isn't there. Information that other cachers could find useful.
