  1. Question: Can you use the tracking mode while using a map quest?
  2. Reply: Well, guy's, this is what I said before and I'l say it again. ...." you should do your homework before you decide to place a cache in any environment that you find questionable."
  3. Reply: Well, yes as a matter of fact. I took a hold of some free time which happened to come my way and hide a cache on the twenty-six after arriving home from work in the early afternoon.
  4. Question: If a member of the geocaching community hides a cache in an inappropriate area, wouldn't Geocaching.com find out about it over the span of time?
  5. Reply: Well, now that I know your angle, I would essentially like to know how effectively this advice you have given works for you.
  6. Reply: Maybe, in order for circulation to commence and continue; a simple basic crude design might just be the cure.
  7. Reply: To be honest, I don't see any element that is worthy of a controversial discussion.
  8. Reply: When a tag isn't activated when one has found it and tried to log it, wouldn't it be wise to put it back in the cache that it was found in until the travel bug is activated?
  9. Reply: That's a lot of work for geocaching ... Keep up the fortitude
  10. Modified design. Thoughts? Reply: My opinion of this new design is that it isn’t as influential as one might think. I base my reasoning on communication public specking criteria. Therefore, I believe persuasion is the key, not an order that will ultimately send mix decoded messages to various people of social backgrounds. Thus, a pleasant and polite message, judging from my experience, should keep the sale of these tags in high production and find their way to diverse cache sites more easily.
  11. Reply: Evening fellow cachers! Although I'm quite pleased with the output that my Garmen GPS gives me, I wonder about other models abilities and the cost of their self-worth.
  12. Reply: Although I did not receive anything Geocaching related, I did buy flashlights and a compass for my brother, Computermaster4, who can hardly wait to use them this week.
  13. Question: Can any type of brand cable cord be used for another GPS brand?
  14. Reply: My opinion is that it would be easier to leave the coordinates in the cache that leads to another cache.
  15. Reply: I guess your best bet would be to use the zip code to zero in on your prize; however, I do have one suggestion that might be worth looking into. Use the cache source of other members, by looking into they cache finds, in your area.
  16. Reply: I agree with my fellow geocachers about good items (tools) for Geocaching. I would like to add to that list: pair of leather gloves, tissues, pocketknife, flathead screwdriver, long nose pliers, and a good thermal of coffee.
  17. Reply: The way I was introduced to Geocaching was by means of a GPS. From what I gather, the sport of Geocaching is derived from the useful tool known as the GPS. However, I'm new to this sport and would be interested to know if I'm wrong or not.
  18. Reply: I would like to first off say that my first cache find was between the opening of a official government mail box. Therefore, I see no reason why you shouldn't that is, of course, if you want to. Lastly (to my knowledge) there is no law forbidding you from hiding a cache in such an area, however, you should do your homework before you decide to place a cache in any environment that you find questionable.
  19. Question: If a geocacher finds a cache that is archived and logs his/her find will the log find count?
