    Used wrong Trackingnumber for activation

    Hey,

     

    I've ordered a geocoin, when I requested the activation-code and while activation-progress I used the wrong tracking-number (on the last position i used a T instead of a 7).

    Is it possible to revoke the activation on geocaching.com?

    I had the same problem too. Send an email to Groundspeak for tracking code reset.

    Code 3 Geocoin - Icon in Profile

    I'll tell you what I think. The icon is 23.gif. That's the generic icon that is assigned to all geocoins until the proper icon is loaded into the system. I just noticed the other day that two of The Geocoin Store new releases have 23.gif, instead of their custom icon. I would bet that's the case, since the AE Code 3 geocoin is the newest one, made long after the other versions.

    Something has changed. I think a problem is solved. All Code 3 geocoins have the same Name and Icon. Look at: Bo.T.L.'s Code 3 Geocoins

    I asked for help eBay seller and his answer was:

    thank you for bringing this situation to my attention. i am getting this problem corrected. your geocoin should have the correct icon and name very soon.

    It's possible that the regular editions were part of the group of codes specific to that design while the AEs may have been made later or as an afterthought using a portion of codes for non-specific personal coins. Are the prefix letters the same on all 3?

    Yes.

    All geocoins have the same prefix PC...

    This may be an odd request... My previous dog Ginger had her own travelbug. I used it to keep track of which caches she had visited. I want to get my current dog a geocoin for the same purpose. I am hoping someone can help me find a nice pretty geocoin that I can attach to her collar. I know I could have one custom made but that would be too expensive for me. :)

    Code 3 Geocoin - Icon in Profile

    Hi,

     

    I won on eBay auction three Code 3 Geocoins Code 3 Geocoin (Antique Gold Edition, Antique Silver Edition and Artist Edition) and activated them. Antique Gold and Silver have in my Profile correct Name and Icon, but Artist Edition is classified as Personal Geocoin without own Icon.

    Where is the problem?

    A number of people have emailed me or contacted me through eBay regarding shipping internationally.

     

    Sorry, but I set this up as US only so the best I can suggest for non-US folks is to have a friend in the US buy it for you and have them ship it to you.

    It sounds like you got the wrong activation code for the wrong coin, not the one you actually have. You should still be able to retrieve the actual activation code for your coin by using the real tracking number on the coin and continue as usual.

     

    Yes, of course. I activated geocoin which I actualy have too, but I have on my Profile misactivated geocoin included. And this is a real problem.

    I need an advice concerning one of my coins activation.

    Is it possible to deactivate the geocoin, which was activated as a mistake

    and has no log?

    I received new geocoins from geocoinclub.com and when

    activating it I changed one of the letters in its tracking number (D instead

    of Q, they were really so small). I received the activation code, but I

    found out too late by its name that it is completely different coin owned

    physically by someone else. Unfortunately to cancel the activation process

    was not possible.
