Hi, Kinda new to this. We started getting into it a few years ago and purchased the Garmin GPSMap60CSX. Never really did much with it. Now we would like to get back into it and I see the new Dakota 10 and it looks so much easier to use? Would it be silly of us to sell the CSX and purchase the Dalota 10? The CSX is like in brand new condition. We maybe used it 3 or 4 times and have all the accessories that came with it? Hello, I have a Garmin GPSmap60CSx and have tried sending the waypoint file to my GPS by clicking the "send to GPS" button on the waypoint page and I get a message that says " The plug-in was not unlocked successfully" so the Find Devices button is greyed out, I went to the test the plug-in page and it was installed correctly I just don't know what is wrong? I also have a Mac and when I send the file to my GPS when Hooked to my Mac it works just fine. Can someone help me get this to work on my Netbook computer???? Does anyone know if this software works with the Garmin GPSMap CSX ( It says it works with most GPS units) and if it does work...Is it at all worth buying for the smaller roads in the country etc? Thanks for any help!

If anyone out there has the Google earth user guide .pdf file I would love if you could e-mail it to me. I have tryed several time to download it from the website and I get about 450 mb and it stops. I have plenty of memroy and hard drive space but I just can't get an entire file downloaded! Thanks for any help!

I was trying to download the GPSBabel proram but when I go to the download page I am not which file I need to download??? Can you help me out?? There are 4 files listed under the program (i386.rpm src.rpm tar.gz and the zip file which is for windows) ...Just not sure which is the correct one for my computer...

Hello All!!! I am running a Mac OSX 10.4.7 not with the intel processor. Is there any program that I can get that will open up the .loc files on the geocaching cache pages? I am thinking of buying a program called Guest PC which allows you to install windows xp on your mac but wondering if there is an easier way???? Any input on this would be appreciated! Hello all!!! Well after much reading and research I have finally narrowed it down to one of these 2 units... The Magellon eXplorist 600 or the Garmin GPSMSP 60 CX. All feedback and opinions would be greatly appreciated also with your suggestion I would also aappredcate which mapping sftware to additionally purchase. Thanks in advance! Can't wait to get started!!!!

Hello All!!!! Newbie here. Got the book, Idot's guide to Geocaching and now we are looking to buy our GPS unit. I am really leaning towards the Garmin Quest. I would love to know all the Pro's and Con's from you seasoned "Treasure Hunters" to help me make my decision on wether to buy this unit or not. Thanks in advance for all your help!
