Call me ignorant, but why is that? With my truck I frequently back into spaces, both in urban areas and rural, especially in crowded lots--it's easier to back in than back out. Just curious if the backing into a space has something to do with the pickle alerts..? Backing into parking places in such areas is considered a sign that you are interested and available.

Texsox, there are many, many people on here who talk more than they cache. Perhaps you should factor in that equation before you quit.

A good unit, it'll do everything you need.

I have the Garmin beanbag mount that came with my 60CS, as well as a Ram suction / ball mount for my truck. The Ram mount is far superior to the Garmin in holding the receiver securely. I don't think either mount manages the cord problem very well, but they're probably doing the best they can with what Garmin gave them to work with.

A good point, but a body found laying dead beside an electrical transformer may not necessarily be connected to geocaching. It would be interesting to know just how many people have died overall while caching. Gotta be a few.

Is there any way to set the default view of a bookmark list to remain at 50 caches rather than revert back to 10 every time it's viewed?

The Legend is a great reciever and you can find a better price than $140 online. At www.gpscity.com it's $124 right now, $132 shipped. That's surely not the cheapest, just an example, but I've dealt with them before and they are legit.
