And I had really a wonderful gift! What a present. I enjoy the geocoin with the prancing horse. My geocaching name is Twentse Mug because I was born in the east of the Netherlands, a region called Twente with its own language (roughly a mix of German and Dutch) and some local culture. It is also an emblem on the shirts of the footballclub Twente Enschede. And it is also the flag of Kent, England because it is the flag of Twente Netherlands but that's a long history lesson. I recognize the flag of Twente on the geocoin and that is nice.

    Anway - I'm smiling, thanks.

  5. I have a question? how do I get a bearing from the post accordance on the cache page. I know the bearing and I know the post accordance, how do I project a bearing without being on site.

    Thanks for your help Billy

  6. Are there any cachers who are planning a run on the E.T. trail before or after Geocoinfest : Las Vegas, Nevadal? I am planning a trip from Alberta Canada to the Geocoinfest 2013 and during this time I would like to do the trail.

I went to do the trail in 2011 with cachers from Quebec, but it was shut down the week before we planed to arrive. We did do the aleon head and then went for Route 66.

I am interested in finding other cachers who are interested in doing the series during the coinfast, and who would like to join forces?

Please get in touch with me if you are interested or know of anyone who wants to go there during this time.

    Thanks.

  8. Correct me if I am wrong but it is not just sticking (WestCan3) on the

end of an event that is already in place.

I thought that WestCan series was a stand alone event not something to just be

    added to other events.

  9. Would someone like to adopt me to be a part of their team on their assault on the ET highway? I am hoping to join a team, as I cannot find anyone from Alberta who wants to attempt this run.

I have been caching since 2006 and have found 1915 + caches in many parts of Canada, UK, and Mexico.

I want to do the ET highway with a group at the end of June, and am willing to pay my part of the expenses.

If there is a team out there who would like to have an international component to there team - I am the one, as I am a Brit living in Canada.

If you’re interested e mail me at rodney@glenyce.net

    Thanks

  10. Thanks so much VT - and yes I need help to upload it - I have the Garmin 60CX.

    Thanks again!

    Billy

Yes she would need a map of downtown, from the look of what they have, none are downtown. Thanks though.

    Anyone else have any suggestions?

Yeah, I made a map of King county WA for you.

    you can download it here:

    http://www.vttrader.com/gpsstuff/44346323.img

It's from the TIGER data. I'm not sure how much you know about custom maps or what GPSr you have, so you might need help uploading it. If your unit supports it, the easiest way I have found is to use either SendMap20 or MapSetToolkit. MapSetToolKit is probably best because it installs it into MapSource also.

Let me know if you need help.
