Thanks for the info. On my old Explorist unit you could do this.

Is there a way to group waypoints on a Garmin 60CSX so that I can only view the waypoints I want to see? Example: Say that I have one set of waypoints for my camp and one set for my home town and I do not want to see them both at the same time. I would like to have one folder or group called camp and another called home. Then only view the ones I want. Any info would be appreciated.

I have an Explorist 400 now. Unit is great but tech support is awful. I have never seen worse tech support from any electornics vendor. I have a Garmin unit on order and have called support a few time with questions prior to buying. They are always very helpful.

Your question about memory. To give you an idea about how big 22 mb is. The complete state of Tennessee is 35 mb.

I am assuming you already have a Garmin unit. You could probaly get by with just the topo software. I just bought a copy of MapSourse Topo USA from www.Pagecomuters.com for $69.14.

I'd download them using G7ToWin, and then just upload them to the Garmin. I have tried the software G7towin but it just locks up. Any other solutions out there?

How can I convert my tracks, routes, and waypoints from from Explorist 400 to my Garmin GPSMAP 60csx?

I have an Explorist 400 and also have USA Topo 3d and Direct Route North America V3. I am wanting to upgrade to an Explorist 600 but Magellan tells me that my software will not work with the 600 since I registered it with the 400 serial number is this correct? Are both the unit and software useless if separated? Any help would be greatly appreciated
